Project of the week: Poppies with a twist

Poppies with a twist
1. Score and fold your A4 card in half to make an A5 Card blank. Measure and mark across the fold at 15cm. Cut down the card to make a square card.

2. Open the card and on the inside front score from the fold line on the right to the top left hand corner of your card. Reinforce the fold line with a bone folder. This is your blank twisted easel.

3. Print off the design sheet and backing paper.

4. Cover the base of the card blank with backing paper. Cut out a ribbon strip from your design sheet and fix across the base of the card as shown at an angle.

5. Cut a topper from the design sheet and back onto kraft card. Attach to the front of your card below the score line using foam pads as shown.

6. Cut a sentiment and attach to the base of the card with foam pads. this will act as a stopper for your card.

7. Take two small strips of coordinating ribbon and tie together in a decorative knot. Fix to the top left hand corner using craft glue.
