Project of the week: Oriental Blooms

Materials

1. Take one 6x6 card rotate the card so the spine is at the top. Using the second card, trim down in half and score at 5cm and 10cm. This will create the front step of the card. Attach the step to the bottom of the front of the card to create the step card.

2. Print and cut out all the elements from your design sheet.

3. Cut down your backing paper to fit your card shape, fixing in place using double sided tape or glue.

4. Then matt and layer your topper onto black card using glue or double sided tape. Cut the black card slightly larger than topper and attach to the centre of the card.

5. Cut your ribbon strip into 4 pieces and attach to the front of the step using double sided tape or glue. This will leave a gap in the middle. Fix your topper to the front step using foam pads.

6. Cut out some extra sentiments and fix to the card as shown, using foam pads and wet glue.

7. Finish by adding touches of stardust glitter to your card.
